Opportunities for Cooperation:

The leadership of AAPI strongly believes that a formal, continuing AAPI-Government of India relationship could be facilitated by;

  1. Appoint a formal liaison to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
  2. Appoint a representative of AAPI to the Medical Council of India.
  3. Promote medical tourism by utilizing medical centers and expertise in India to provide affordable quality health care.
  4. Maintain on-going dialogue between AAPI, Government of India, leading medial institutions and industrial partners by periodic visits to India and to US to foster collaborative efforts in education, research and commerce.
