ATIPS SW meeting minutes- 12/14/09 ( 2015-2215)
- The 2010's first EC meeting was held at Dr S.Gogu's residence. Meeting was attended by Dr. S. Parghi, Dr. Jayesh Shah, Dr. R.Gampala. Dr. A.Gotimukula. Dr. V.Koli, Dr. Rajam Ramamurthy, Dr. Kumar, Dr. Bhoja, Ram Joolukuntla and Saumil Shah
- Dr. Gogu delegated responsibilities to each EC member.
- Dr. Gotimukula/ Dr. Kumar will update TIPS member directory
- First Quarterly news letter will be published on the website by Dr. N Patel/Dr. Gampala after the first Mix/Mingle gathering in January 2010
- Charity clinic committee: Will form a 10 member committee and Dr. Jagirdar to chair the committee. Will work on getting privileges to all 10 member Physicians to run the Charity clinic efficiently.
- Bylaws committee: Dr. S.Parghi/ Dr. P.Gupta will update the TIPS bylaws. Will add Charity clinic to the bylaws
- Fund raising Gala: Dr. Jayesh Shah/ Dr. Kumar to chair the Gala. Funds raised from the gala will be donated towards education, eg. giving scholarships to high school science students and also funding to the University
- Honorary members: Ram Joolukuntla, Saumil Shah, Parth Rana. Ram to update TIPS SW website. Also discussed advertising Charity clinic awarenes on Samachar.com. Also discussed conducting educational seminars to general public eg. Diabetes awareness, Alzheimers awareness etc
- Current AAPI treasurer, Dr. Jayesh Shah is contesting as secretary of AAPI 2010. TIPS EC unianimoulsy supports candidacy of Dr. J Shah as AAPI secretary for 2010-11
- Following calender of events are planned for 2010:
-- January 28th (Thurs) : Mix and Mingle/ membership drive- Dr.Priyanka
-- March 26th (Fri): Mix and Mingle/membership drive--Dr. Gogu
-- May 1st(Sat): TIPS/TMA meeting in Dallas -Dr. Ashok/EC
-- July TIPS/IASA Picnic: Dr. Gogu/Dr. Patel/ Ram/Saumil
-- Sept TIPS SW fund raising Gala at Alzafar Temple-Dr. Shah/ Dr. Kumar/ Dr. Parekh
-- Nov 15th (Fri) Mix and Mingle- Dr. Bhoja Reddy
